Before we built our house thirty years ago, we had to cut down trees and clear the land. We piled trees and limbs, leaves and brush together so it could break down into soil for later use. The pile has broken down, but occasionally I'll throw a log or tree branch knocked down in a storm on to the end of the pile. The other day as I was clearing the watermelon and zucchini patches I looked up to see this "garden dragon" looking at me from the pile. Can you see him, too?

To be honest, I felt confident, when I took this photo, that it would come out as well as it did. I used no post processing for this photograph because I couldn't find a way to improve it. I like it the way it is. Simple nature. I hope you enjoy it, too.
