I've always had a reputation for shooting the moon...I like partial 'moon' shots better since you capture some of the craters and shadows.......

*note the little antler buds.....whitetail shed their antlers every year with new growth beginning around march of every year lasting for several months....typically growth begins rather slowly considering the often poor body condition of deer coming through the winter, growth rapidly accelerates with spring nutrition improvement. So many factors come into play...genetics, minerals, age...etc

I gave up 'breakfast' the other morning to give my 'flickr' friends a idea on just how big hummingbird eggs are, I tied a cheerio onto a piece of fishing line in order to get this shot.........really sad part is, the next day some predator got into the nest and ate the eggs, I was really disappointed as this nest provided a perfect opportunity to capture youngsters.
