Got up at an unholy hour to see the sunrise on the east coast. This is the eldest shivering away after he was convinced to take his outer layer off.

Life certainly does get in the way. One minute you're happy taking pics willy-nilly and uploading like a beast; the next minute, your camera is some kind of long lost amigo who you don't fully understand anymore.

Anyway, it's the summer holidays and I thought I'd get my camera bag out. To my surprise there's all kinds of stuff I'd forgotten about. Our daughter was dead keen to get stuck in so I started telling her about f-stops and shutter speeds, and she's obsessed with ISO of all things. I'm about halfway inspired to get back into it. We'll see.

This was taken at Flamborough last night. The light dot on the left is the lighthouse.

Just over 18 months? Seems about right. A combination of reasons for this, which I won't bore anyone about.
Not sure about processing on this; sending from cam to phone and tweaking on there. Very rusty in that aspect.

I've been trying for several weeks to get a reasonable black and white shot. It appears I am not a monochrome kinda guy. Oh well.
