3. The area I shot is similar to the land around it. It is on a path in the woods. It has the same types of trees and plants as the other areas in the woods.
4. The area I photographed had thick bushes and many trees. The ground was mostly soil but also had moss and fallen leaves on it. The specific spot I shot was at the intersection between two paths so the ground was more worn down than in other parts of the woods.
5. This landscape is part of woods known as Stadium Woods behind the football stadium at Virginia Tech. It is unique in that it is one of only about 425 old growth forests in the region.
6. The surface in this location is dominated by Deciduous Forest.
