Whilst returning from a trip Kielder Forest we drove past Alnwick Castle. On the road out of town the wife spotted the castle in the distance and an amazing sunset. I pulled over and shot this stood on a bridge poking the camera thru some trees!

Home to the 12th Earl of Northumberland and the location of the first 2 Harry Potter films.

Another early get up to try and catch a sunrise. Failed again on the pink horizon but managed to catch some colour in the clouds. Tomorrow looks promising :)

Up early once again for a trip over to Lindesfarne before the causeway was flooded. Beautiful morning and what a sunrise! Holy Island Castle standing proud on the left and the sun peeking over the Farne Islands. Happy days...
