A most enjoyable trip into Mid Wales to the Gigrin Red Kite Feeding Centre at Rhayader.

I have never witnessed such a spectacle as these amazing raptors dive down for food. Somewhere around 3 to 400 at any one time!

A must visit if you are ever in the area....

Evening dog walk over some fields I'd yet to venture. How happy was I to watch a Barn Owl on the hunt! In my 53 yrs I have never witnessed anything like this before. I watched it for a good 20 mins hoping it would come a little closer. Next time I'll be sure to pack more pixels and a longer lens :)
