Came across this one whilst out with Pep. Went back with the gear and it's not one I've seen before on any forum. Google lens doesn't help either.
The rotting tree stump was packed with them. More slime mold in one place than I have ever seen before. Interesting to see how this one develops as with my limited knowledge I think it's quite fresh....

EXIF data is wrong! It must be picking up the non cpu 100mm I have. Must change it!

Mycena tenerrima
The super tiny Frosty Bonnet. Not actually frosty that's just its common name. I find these on a pine tree. There are usually a few after a wet period but they soon dry up. Taken at 5x with the Laowa. The lens is brilliant for getting really close but the softness of the optics are very evident here. I prefer to see them in their environment but always good to try a close up!

A single find from a revisit to the slime find yesterday. These things don't hang around long.
I had a play around with the background, using my phone to display a colourful screen. Trying to create a more Instagrammable image haha.... I've not got those images to work yet. The reflection in the droplets is my third hand. I was using it to prop up my phone.

Another lovely little slime mold find this morning. I think it's Comatricha nigra? Open to suggestion tho...
I may have to go back tomorrow to see how it has developed.
