Looks like a coyote to me. This giant is on one of the local Indian reservations in the Palm Springs area. You can take an interesting hike even shaded thru a date palm jungle and listen to the palm leaves rattle in the wind. The hikes are easy and for all ages but best avoid summer months when the coolest part of the day is now 99 in the morning.
