This golden rule of reciprocity is often "forgotten" by some individuals who believe they are strong enough to impose their own point of view to others while being self reliable enough to do without acknowledgment from others.

Palácio do Planalto é o nome oficial do Palácio dos Despachos da Presidência da República Federativa do Brasil. É o local onde está localizado o Gabinete Presidencial do Brasil. O prédio também abriga a Casa Civil, a Secretaria-Geral e o Gabinete de Segurança Institucional da Presidência da República. É a sede do Poder Executivo do Governo Federal brasileiro. O edifício está localizado na Praça dos Três Poderes em Brasília, tendo sido projetado por Oscar Niemeyer. O Palácio do Planalto faz parte do projeto do Plano Piloto da cidade e foi um dos primeiros edifícios construídos na capital.
A construção do Palácio do Planalto, começou em 10 de julho de 1958 e obedeceu a projeto arquitetônico elaborado por Oscar Niemeyer em 1956. A obra foi concluída a tempo de tornar o Palácio o centro das festividades da inauguração de Brasília, em 21 de abril de 1960. Até então a residência de vistoria do presidente funcionava em uma construção provisória de madeira conhecida popularmente como Palácio do Catetinho, inaugurada em 31 de outubro de 1956, nos arredores de Brasília.
Antes da construção do Palácio do Planalto e do Palácio da Alvorada, o Palácio do Catete, localizado na cidade do Rio de Janeiro, foi a sede do poder executivo brasileiro de 1897 a 1960. A partir desse ano, a sede do poder executivo foi transferida para a recém-inaugurada cidade de Brasília.

The Palácio do Planalto (Portuguese pronunciation: [paˈlasju du plaˈnawtu]) is the official workplace of the President of Brazil. It is located in the national capital of Brasília. The building was designed by architect Oscar Niemeyer and inaugurated on April 21, 1960. It has been the workplace of every Brazilian president since Juscelino Kubitschek. It is located at the Praça dos Três Poderes, to the east of the National Congress and across from the Supreme Federal Court.
It is one of the official palaces of the Presidency, along with the Palácio da Alvorada. Besides the President, a few high advisers also have offices in the Planalto, including the Vice President and the Chief of Staff; the other ministries are laid along the Ministries Esplanade. As the seat of government, the term Planalto is often used as a metonym for the executive branch of the government.
