A solid layer of valley fog and blooming Carolina Rhododendron made for a special day in the gorge. I later found out that my friend Daniel Burleson was also up there at the same time although we didn't cross paths.

The colours appear desaturated on Flickr. I don't think I'll ever understand why.

The connection between humans and nature has always fascinated me. This concept revolves around how much we take, and how little we give back to the Earth. We're both struggling to breathe. A close-up of the props can be found on my Twitter (I'll post tomorrow!).
