Garnet Lake, Mammoth lakes, CA.
We were on a backpacking trip for four days, I took this pic on the second day of our trip. when we setup our camp the weather was not good with a cloudy rainy sky, but I said it might happen so I went to discover some places for the next day's sunrise, then all of sudden every thing changed and I was awarded with this amazing sunset. it was a tough day, full with adventures.
Cam: Nikon D300
Lens: Nikon 16-35 f/4 With PL and 2 stop filter.

The twins are kids now.
I am very active on my blog...in fact these shots will be up there in just a day or so, but I wanted to update here as well. Hard to think it has been 7 years for me on here. I hate viewing people's photos on facebook (they look so much better here!) but I love the social aspect. I just have not quite figured out how to balance the two. And then there is my blog...the place where I can say what I want to say without being beholden to Yahoo... I got my social media start here, so I stay for the sentimentality of it all.
